Colby Ramsay is a surrealist singer-songwriter from Naramata—channeling songs inspired by apples, vision quests, & the occasional ziziphus tree.
MILES OVERN: “This incredible fellow has his hands firmly on the pulse of all of the musical happenings in our great city & he plays with all the heart a man could muster.”
Americana meets Jazz Pop. As a teenage songwriter Miles Overn had the incredibly good fortune of meeting and getting to know many of his musical heroes, leading to him spending time on the road hanging out with and learning from some of the best singer/songwriters in the history of North American music. Spending time at the feet of and in the presence of true masters of the singer/songwriter genre, he took every opportunity to learn from those who had already achieved much and were in the process of creating and achieving even more.
After a series of tragic loses that led to a prolonged absence from performing live, he has determined to get out there again and share his songs and the stories and characters behind them in hopes of encouraging and inspiring others to pursue their dreams while determining to be continuously in the moment.
Get ready to lose yourself in the music, surrounded by good vibes and even better company.
