CONOR GAINS +

DEVIN CUDDY

Come enjoy a genre blending mix of ROCK, FOLK, SOUL + BLUES!

CONOR GAINS::

With thousands of shows around the globe under his belt, including the prestigious Montreal Jazz Festival, the award-winning artist from Cambridge, Ontario has caught his stride with his debut EP Three, co-produced with Mike Wise (Ellie Goulding, James Blunt) and out now via Wax Records.

Already creating a massive buzz across Canada and the US, it is clear that there was a lane ready and waiting, for an artist like Conor Gains. As real and raw as it gets, Conor is the true definition of a road warrior, playing close to 200 shows a year. Now with a team behind him, the right music, and the right moment - this singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist (violin anyone!?) and producer is quickly becoming known as Canada’s next big thing. Authentic, organic, and out-of-the-box, Conor Gains has no desire to follow the pack. This is definitely a journey you will want to follow.

DEVIN CUDDY::

Devin Cuddy is a singer songwriter based in Toronto. From an early age he was drawn to music of the past. While sifting through his father's (Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo) CD collection, he found the music of Louis Armstrong and New Orleans blues piano players like Dr John and Professor Longhair. After attending York University for Jazz Piano, Devin starting hanging around Toronto's Cameron House, where he was inspired by the local singer songwriter scene.

When the Cameron house decided to start a label to showcase local artists, Devin was quickly recruited. His first release, Volume One, was released in late 2012 and was nominated for a Juno. The record was a blend of his love for New Orleans blues and outlaw country. In support of the release, Devin and his band headed out on a cross country tour opening for his father's band, Blue Rodeo.

Volume One was followed up by Kitchen Knife, produced by Greg Keelor, and then an EP called Amy's Dream, produced by Chis Stringer, who's songs Maggie's Hardware Store (a cover of a jack marks song) and Radio took him in a more roots rock direction. This direction continues with Devins latest release Dear Jane.
